FIRST ANNUAL “21+” CELEBRATION
You Are Invited To Attend The First Annual DSALA “21+” Celebration Honoring Bunim/Murray Productions
This will be an adult-oriented event (21 and over) where you will be able to mingle and have fun with other members of the Down Syndrome community and their supporters. There will be arcade games, drinks, music, surprise celebrity guests and more. There will be a silent auction and a raffle – where all proceeds go directly to DSALA and its many programs. DSALA strives to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of Down syndrome.
DSALA will also be honoring Bunim/Murray Productions with the “21+ Advocacy Award” and the Los Angeles City Certificate for the EMMY winning A&E series “Born This Way”. A&E's original docuseries highlights the amazing abilities of seven young adults born with Down Syndrome as they pursue passions, dreams, and generally defy society's expectations. The “21+ Advocacy Award” presenters will be the cast members of “Born This Way”.
