DOWN SYNDROME AWARENESS MONTH

Tuesday, October 22, 2013
10:00 am11:00 am

The DSALA would like to invite the entire community of Los Angeles living with Down syndrome/Trisomy 21 to join us as the Los Angeles City Council recognizes October as Down Syndrome Awareness Month.
This very special occasion, that will take place at City Hall on Tuesday October 22, has only happened once before in the entire history of Los Angeles! The presentation by City Council members Filipe Fuentes and Joe Buscaino will take place in the Los Angeles City Hall Council Chambers at 10 am. All ages of individuals with Down syndrome/Trisomy 21, along with their supports, are welcome to participate.

In order to be a part of this great experience you will need to RSVP below. Please fill out all fields so we will have plenty of safe and secure parking at City Hall East. We ask that all registered guests plan on being to City Hall East, and parked, no later than 9:00 am on October 22. This will allow enough time to get to City Hall City Chambers and to be seated by 9:30 am. The presentation will take place precisely at 10 am.

Seating is limited to 150 individuals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for every member of the Los Angeles Ds community with an interest in our local government. See you there!
