Connections Series

Join us at our next event


Monthly events organized by the DSALA program committee to connect families of individuals with Down syndrome and to raise public awareness. The events that we choose meet at least four of our six goals:
  1. strengthen our Down syndrome community;
  2. raise awareness in the greater community;
  3. share family values and togetherness;
  4. fun;
  5. education; and
  6. community service.

We choose a variety of events and locations throughout Greater Los Angeles area in efforts to reach all members of our community.

Past events have included:

I. January 2008 - California Science Center Day
II. February/March 2008 - Nature Walk in Franklin Canyon
III. April 2008 - Beautify River Garden Park
IV. May 2008 - "A Farey Hunt"
V. June 2008 - Heal the Bay in Hermosa Beach
